Head of Indian cricket board steps aside

N Srinivasan, set to become the president of the sport’s global governing body, steps aside amid a corruption probe.

The Indian Supreme Court has ordered the head of the country’s cricket board, N Srinivasan, to step aside while a corruption
investigation into illegal gambling and spot-fixing takes place.

Srinivasan is due to become the president of cricket’s world governing body, the International Cricket Council, in July.
