More than three million Mexicans were affected by last month's earthquake which hit the impoverished southern states of Oaxaca and Chiapas.

There are still thousands of Mexicans in the south whose houses have been destroyed and who are waiting for government assistance.

Al Jazeera's John Holman reports from Chiapas.
