Palestinians find way back to Gaza from Syria

Civil war forces some Palestinians living in Damascus to become refugees twice over.

Before the uprising in Syria began more than two years ago, the country was home to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, who were displaced from their own land. 

But the ongoing violence has turned many Palestinians into refugees twice over, forcing them back to their homeland.

One family has just returned to Gaza from the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus, and they are starting their life anew.

Al Jazeera’s Nicole Johnston reports from Gaza.
