An explosion has been reported at an arms depot near the Sihala area of Islamabad in Pakistan, killing at least one and wounding two others.
Pakistan military sources told Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder that Monday’s explosion was caused by a short circuit.

The building where the arms depot is located collapsed due to the intensity of the blast, local media said.
A correspondent for Express 24/7, a local news channel, said that three extremely powerful explosions took place and that the area was engulfed in smoke.
Police sources said that several people had been injured in the blast.
Police and rescue teams have been dispatched to the area and fire brigades from Islamabad and Rawalpindi have rushed to the site.
