Russian authorities have given pilots of small private aircraft an all-clear to fly over Moscow, the capital, without waiting days for flight clearance.

The move is seen as a long awaited boost to the country’s aviation standards.

Many hope it will bring some relief to the city’s notoriously congested roads, but there are also safety concerns over Moscow’s skies becoming more crowded.
