In Gaza, around 20 families have had their homes demolished as part of a plan to regulate housing in the territory.
Hamas, the Palestinian group which controls the enclave, says the houses were built illegally on government owned land and should be torn down.
But the families say they paid for the land.
Nicole Johnston reports from Rafah, in southern Gaza.
