Stream of pilgrims on path to Mount Arafat

Millions head to holiest spot in Mecca as part of their Hajj pilgrimage, including some who were not born Muslims.

For millions of Muslim pilgrims, the day of arrival to Mount Arafat is one of repentance, as they seek a new sense of purpose in life.

They spend the day in prayer and contemplation.
