Russia has warned against the deployment of Patriot surface-to-air missiles along Turkey's border with Syria.

Moscow says that the move is not wise, and that NATO should focus on helping resolve the crisis in Syria through dialogue.

NATO, for its part, says any deployment would be a defensive move.

Al Jazeera's Simon McGregor-Wood reports.
