Gay rights supporters march in Paris

Thousands rally two days before French parliamentary debate on legalising same-sex marriage.

Tens of thousands of people have marched through the French capital Paris in support of the government's plan to legalise gay marriage.

The rally was organised two days before a parliamentary debate on the proposed bill. The issue, however, is a divisive one.
