Yoga classes are being offered to Indian soldiers serving in Kashmir in an attempt to reduce their stress levels.
Confrontations between Kashmiris and the Indian forces regularly result in street fighting. The tense standoff with Pakistan, which claims sovereignty over the region also adds to the Indian soldiers' stress levels.
However, the stress reducing qualities of yoga being exercised by the Indian soldiers in the Kashmir valley now could go a long way in alleviating their anxiety and tension levels.
