Justice eludes poisoned Thai village

A small village in Thailand is struggling to recover from years of lead contamination caused by spillages from a mining company.

The company was forced to shut down 16 years ago, but the pollution in the creek bed was never fully cleaned up. 

Many of Klity Lang’s 300 people have been left with serious health problems and they are frustrated over the lack of accountability.

The Supreme Court ordered the government’s pollution control department to set up a rehabilition plan, but it never happened.
