Obama unveils youth immigration programme
New policy allows young immigrants to apply for permits to work and study for up to two years.

President Barack Obama has opened the door for hundreds of thousands of undocumented young immigrants in the US  to get a work permit or enter higher education.

Young people can now apply for a two-year deferral from rules governing undocumented immigrants.

Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports from Los Angeles.
