US president's State of the Union speech calls for all Americans to come together and work as one.

    Barack Obama, the US president, has focused on jobs and the economy in his annual State of the Union speech.

    The speech, which was also seen as the first step towards Obama's re-election campaign in 2012, also included a call for unity in the country.
