World reacts to end of Mugabe’s era in Zimbabwe

Although reactions to Robert Mugabe’s resignation will run the gamut, most will agree that they are glad it happened peacefully.

Reactions to Mugabe’s resignation have been coming in from around the world.

Mugabe resigned after 37 years in power and his former lieutenant Emmerson Mnangagwa will likely become Zimbabwe’s interim leader.

While he was a towering figure on the African continent, his influence was also felt around the world.
