Arafat's final effects - Al Jazeera English

Arafat's final effects

A collection of the items Al Jazeera analysed while studying what killed Yasser Arafat.

These are the items Yasser Arafat had with him when he died - his glasses, his clothes, even his trademark keffiyeh.

All of them were sent to the University Centre of Legal Medicine in Lausanne, Switzerland, where they were examined for a range of poisons and heavy metals, everything from arsenic to zinc.
