The Hong Kong International Film Festival – considered the most prestigious of Asia’s red carpet events – is Hong Kong’s equivalent of the Oscars.
Showcasing the latest Chinese blockbusters, the awards have a reputation for challenging censorship in Hong Kong.
This year, a film that sheds light on the hardships faced by migrant workers in Asia – Still Human – was a favourite, winning three awards.
