Oil and gas production, which provided quarter of economic output once, has now fallen by 95 percent.

    Syria's oil and natural gas sectors once fed a $1bn industry which provided more than a quarter of its economic output. 

    But after two years of conflict, oil and gas production has fallen by 95 percent.
