Thousands rally in Venezuela despite holidays

Anti-government demonstrators keep up pressure, protesting against violence, food shortages and rising inflation.

    Thousands of people have returned to the streets in Venezuela to protest against rising inflation, violence and food shortages. This comes a day after the government held a peace conference meant to defuse tensions.
