Mexico mechanic gears up to play messiah

Role of Jesus Christ is most prized in world's largest Passion play performed each Easter in Mexico City.

    Each year, nearly 5,000 amateur actors take part in the world's largest annual open-air play.

    In the Passion play depicting passages from the Bible, the role of Jesus Christ is the most sought after.

    This Easter, Al Jazeera spoke to Jesus Flores Dominguez, a 25-year-old mechanic, who stars as the Christian messiah in Mexico City.
