Tensions between media outlets and sports bodies grow over accusations of editorial interference.

Media organisations in Australia are becoming increasingly frustrated with what they say are attempts by sports administrators to control their coverage.

The outlets say rugby officials and members of other sports bodies risk putting fans off coverage by attempting to put restrictions on what journalists can and can’t say.
