Almaty hoping to host the 2022 Winter Games
Olympics officials are currently inspecting facilities in Almaty, the Kazakhstan city hoping to host the Winter Games

Organisers estimate that it will cost $5bn to host the 2022 Winter Games in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It cost Sochi in excess of $50bn to host it in 2014.
The IOC is currently in the area and looking at their facilities.
