LeBron James scored 22 points to become the youngest player in NBA history to surpass 25,000 points in Cleveland’s 107-100 win over Philadelphia.

The 30-year-old James, 20th on the all-time scoring list, needed 21 points at the beginning of the night to reach 25,000. He did so when he dunked on a lob from Matthew Dellavedova with 8:05 left in the game.

Mo Williams added 21 points for Cleveland, which won its third straight to improve to 3-1. Kevin Love had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Cavaliers, who trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half.

Elsewhere, Tim Duncan recorded the 831st double-double of his career leading San Antonio Spurs 94-84 over New York.

The ageless centre scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Duncan is fifth all-time in that category. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who stands in fourth place, registered 885 double-doubles.

Duncan had plenty of help as San Antonio dominated the paint. Kawhi Leonard had 18 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks, LaMarcus Aldridge added 19 points and Tony Parker chipped in with 16 points.

Jerryd Bayless paced a balanced scoring attack with 26 points, and Greg Monroe added 23 points and 13 rebounds as Milwaukee won for the first time this season, beating the Nets 103-96.
