Tahani Ismail

Tahani Ismail is a social worker and human rights activist based in Nyala, Darfur. She began her human rights advocacy while still a high school student at the height of the genocide in Darfur. After studying socio-economic studies at Cavendish University in Uganda, she worked her way up to become the Executive Director of a national humanitarian organisation, working on issues of sustainable development.
