Al Jazeera gains exclusive access to Syrian side of Golan Heights where rebels captured more territory on Quneitra.

Al Jazeera has gained exclusive access to the Syrian side of the Golan Heights where rebels say they have captured more territory on Quneitra.

The UN said that the advances by armed groups were posing a direct threat to the safety and security of peacekeepers, who have been monitoring the demarcation line between Syria and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

The organisation has temporarily pulled some of its peacekeepers out of their position on the Syrian side of the border.
