Files reveal persecution under British Empire

Previously secret documents showing crimes committed in final days of empire are made public.

    Long forgotten secret documents from the final days of the British Empire have been made available to the public.

    The controversial records detail crimes committed during the dying days of the empire, including the persecution of people by the British.

    It has also emerged that thousands more documents have been destroyed.
