Georgia's economy is facing a difficult summer after Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to ban flights between Russia and Georgia.

    Georgia's economy is facing difficult times after Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to ban flights between Russia and Georgia.

    The Russian government has also threatened to ban exports of wine and foods from its South Caucasus neighbour.

    Russian state media is claiming that Georgia has become unsafe for Russian citizens after mass anti-Russian demonstrations in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
