Al Jazeera SnapChats refugee crisis on Lesbos

Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Jamjoom reports from the entry point for refugees in Europe as they land on the Greek island.

More than 218,000 refugees crossed the Mediterranean last month, nearly the same number as in the whole of 2014 [EPA]

Al Jazeera’s first report from the field using social media platform SnapChat is taking place today on the Greek island of Lesbos. 

Senior correspondent Mohammed Jamjoom is covering the refugee crisis and taking viewers directly to the island’s north, where the majority of refugees are arriving.
