US President Barack Obama is weighing up how to deal with a Sunni-led rebellion in Iraq.

The Obama administration is considering working with its longtime foe Iran, after fighters from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) seized control of a large part of northern Iraq.
