Thai tourism hit by military coup
Tourist destination Phuket feels the pinch as coup impacts tourism, which accounts for ten percent of the economy.

The Thai army’s deputy spokesman has said soldiers will gradually toughen measures against anti-coup protesters.
That includes imposing its curfew on the country’s popular tourist destinations.
In Phuket, political instability and the recent military coup are affecting tourism which accounts for ten percent of the economy.
