Damage to massive Africa dam raises alarms
Zambia and Zimbabwe trying to raise $250m to repair the Kariba dam, which has developed serious structural damage.

Zambia and Zimbabwe are urgently trying to raise $250 million to make repairs to the massive Kariba dam.
The dam is one of the world’s largest, spanning the Zambezi River that forms a border between the two countries.
But cracks have appeared, and people living below the dam are worried that it could collapse and trigger a disaster.
