Supporters of Thailand Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra have blockaded the anti-corruption commission that is investigating a failing rice subsidy scheme.
It comes as anti-government protesters mount a competing demonstration demanding an investigation into the deaths of more than 20 people in a series of attacks.
Caught in the middle are the families of victims who are now appealing to the opposing political parties to end the bloodshed.
