Australian nuclear test grounds restored

Australian’s famed outback was used as a testing ground for nuclear weapons in the 1950s, and at the time native inhabitants were given just days to move from their homes.

During the 1980s and the 1990s, Australia’s government spent a hundred million dollars cleaning up the land. Now their descendants are getting the land back.
