Thousands of South Sudanese remain stateless
About 20,000 struggle with no official status two years after independence from Sudan.

When Sudan and South Sudan separated from Sudan in 2011, millions of people found themselves on the wrong side of the new border.
Many were allowed to return to their respective countries, but about 20,000 South Sudanese living along the disputed border are struggling with no official status.
