UK retailers accused of shunning local staff
Tesco and Next dragged into immigration debate, accused of hiring migrants at cheap rates.

Top British companies have been accused of favouring immigrant workers ahead of home-grown employees simply because they are cheaper.
The opposition Labour party has strongly criticised the supermarket chain Tesco and the clothing retailer Next.
Both companies deny the allegations.
