A group of non-profit organisations expresses concern over a special UN intervention force being sent to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
 
The United Nations has told Al Jazeera the brigade of around three thousand troops should be operational by mid-July.
 
But non-profit organisations say civilians will continue to be at risk unless the Congolese army and the new force are effectively monitored.
