Parents take risks to home-school children in Germany, the only European country where practice is illegal.

Parents around the world are increasingly turning to home schooling for their children.

It requires time and effort, and, in some countries, even means breaking the law.

Germany is the only major European country where home-schooling is illegal.

Despite this, an estimated 1,000 families are following the practice.
