Native Americans want Obama to deliver

Native American leaders ask US government to follow through on promises and provide welfare and security.

Every year during his administration, US President Barack Obama has asked leaders of the federally recognised Native American tribes to come to Washington.

It’s earned him a lot of admiration from this often neglected group, but some are left questioning what he has actually delivered.

They are asking what happened to budgets for healthcare and law enforcement in their communities.
