Iraqi refugees’ fear of what might happen in Egypt outweighs their safety concerns at home.

Iraqis start leaving Egypt amid anti-government protests

As pro-democracy protests continue in Egypt, many cities across the country including the capital, Cairo, have become very dangerous at the moment.

And many foreigners are getting out as quickly as they can. Even Iraqis, who fled the deadly violence in their country, are heading back to Baghdad for the sake of their safety.

Al Jazeera’s Jane Arraf reports now on the exodus.
