A massive aid relief operation in Mexico has brought aid to tens of thousands of people cut off by severe flooding.

Heavy rains unleashed by Tropical Storm Alex caused rivers and creeks along the Rio Grande basin to break their banks.

Major roads have also been cut, including the busiest border crossings to the US.
