The world’s biggest high technology fair is getting underway in Hanover, Germany.
A host of gadgets, ranging from 3D televisions to mobile phones that open doors to computers that read lips, are being showcased.
Angela Merkel, Germany’s chancellor and Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, the Spanish premier kicked off the five-day Cebit show.
This year’s event takes place as Germany struggles to recover from the recession.
