Fears of fresh violence in Kyrgyzstan
Tensions high ahead of October poll, just months after deadly inter-ethnic violence.

Police in Kyrgyzstan are reportedly playing down rumours that inter-ethnic violence is flaring up again in the southern city of Osh, just months after deadly violence between ethnic communities gripped the country.
However, critics say that tension between ethnic Uzbeks and Kyrgyz remains high ahead of parliamentary polls in October.
