Video: Tensions over Hungary’s Roma

Ethnic tensions grow amid resentment among Hungary’s Roma community.

In Hungary, confrontations between an increasing Gypsy population and people aligned with the right-wing are becoming more frequent and more violent.

The Roma form the largest minority in the country, accounting for almost 10 per cent of the population, and their numbers are rising more rapidly than any other ethnic group.

Ethnic Hungarians say its changing the demographic of the country and leading to widespread tensions.

Al Jazeera’s David Chater reports.
