Karadzic’s Sarajevo legacy

Al Jazeera visits the city that Radovan Karadzic is accused of laying siege to.

The trial of Radovan Karadzic, the former Bosnian Serb leader, has begun in The Hague.

Karadzic is accused of involvement in the killings of thousands of Muslims in the city of Srebrenica and of laying siege to Sarajevo, the city he called home for 30 years.

Barnaby Phillips visits the Bosnian capital to discover whether its scars have started to heal.
