Trial date set for Austria’s Fritzl
Court date set for Austrian man accused of imprisoning and raping his daughter.

Rudolf Mayer, Fritzl’s lawyer, said last year that his client would not appeal against the charge sheet.
The case came to light in April last year, when it emerged that his daughter, now in her 40s, had been kept in a sound-proof basement under Fritzl’s home in Amstetten, a central Austrian town.
A psychiatric report concluded Fritzl was mentally fit for trial.
