In Pictures: Monster storm stirs Arabian Sea

One of the most powerful cyclones ever recorded in the region is heading towards India.

    Tropical Cyclone Nilofar is the most powerful storm to hit the Arabian Sea region in four years. Vast quantities of rain have been generated by the cyclone along with mountainous seas and violent winds. So far, Nilofar has largely remained over open water, but now it is turning towards India's coastline.
