
French protesters mark Adama Traore’s custodial death anniversary
Protesters march in France to remember a young Black man who died in police custody as his family continue their campaign for justice.
A protest march took place in northern France, in memory of a young Black man who died in police custody four years ago.
Adama Traore was arrested on his birthday after running away from officers who approached him for an identity check. But hours later, he was declared dead.
Nobody has been convicted over his death.
