NYC artists display BLM street art on boarded-up storefronts

Artists in New York are using boarded-up storefronts as canvases for works of art, uplifting messages and words of protest.

Amid the COVID-19 crisis and Black Lives Matter protests, the Soho district of New York has been turned into an art gallery.

Hundreds of artists have painted the plywood of boarded-up storefronts with protest art, depicting expressions of hope and healing.
