UK asylum seekers: Charities call for more government aid
Opposition politicians have been pressing the government to increase the weekly amount of money for asylum seekers.
The British government is being urged to boost financial support for refugees and asylum seekers struggling during the pandemic.
Charities say the existing cash allowance and a ban on work have left them more vulnerable.
