Beijing envoy takes on the Hong Kong protest movement

As protests reappear in Hong Kong, there are accusations that China’s envoy to Hong Kong is exceeding his powers.

The case is drawing attention to the role of Beijing’s new top envoy in the territory, as he tries to stop a resurgent protest movement.

Al Jazeera’s Adrian Brown reports from Hong Kong.
