Zimbabwe water shortages add plight to multiple crises

Water shortages are causing increased hardships for many, on top of coronavirus restrictions, unemployment and the crippling economic crisis.

Many people in Zimbabwe go days without water. When it does arrive, townspeople crowd together to make sure to get their rations, making the physical distancing required by the coronavirus pandemic impossible to maintain.

Water shortages are not the only thing people have to worry about, as unemployment and the crippling economic crisis make getting enough to eat a challenge.
